To be honest, without the tricks and many words at the beginning of the EPOS, when they put out a master class (a big word, but it's scary). More precisely, the process of creating my new Baby is probably for me, because Everyone probably feels what I am, our dolls are our children! So, like everyone probably, I think so, in the process of working on the next doll, our thoughts are ahead of our hands (we all probably felt it, the swarm from the images of new dolls! Probably rolls over), regardless of you. While I am making the doll today, the processes of creating a new image tomorrow take place in my head. So I'm browsing the archive of my downloaded photos of various works (.. to be honest I have a thousand of them, your doll girls, with details of clothes, faces, accessories .. etc., etc. Everyone has such an archive, it’s also called: “for inspiration”, “ideas”, etc., etc., and I found this photograph of a doll in the archive for my daughter, it was for printouts for girls and everything was decided that’s what is needed. As they say, I did not enter the process the creatures flew in .. sorry, sorry, litter, but I copied this doll because in truth I am a COPIER. BUT with my minor changes.

Well, now I want to give you NON-PROFESSIONAL photos of my process! This doll interested me, I made a doll in its image!

Here is my pattern, which I slightly redistributed and enlarged (by attaching a sheet of paper to the monitor. There are blogs on NM about this

)

If you look at patterns, you can see that the arms and legs are of different sizes. and along the way you are already looking at what kind of pen or leg you make, it’s very convenient when you start to sew a doll.

accordingly, what I did.

Everything seems to be clear here, that the little doll is tinted with coffee and vanilla. Here are such blanks; they turned out to be 8 pieces. And I discovered for myself: if you walk on the coffee doll with sandpaper, it becomes smooth, looks like skin.

. and as always, the table turned into a circus performance, barely managed to photograph what started to happen, and laughter and sin. Aerobatics.

. you can’t imagine how much effort I had to put in to calm them down, finally the trio sat down and I was able to photograph them while their sisters were taking the tanning bed!

The preparation process is over and the fun begins - you pick out the material, threads, all sorts of little things, ribbons, felt for hair, make a dress pattern, probably the most interesting - after all, even creating a doll blank, anyway the process of thinking through what kind of doll the doll goes next until you you sew the last button and you don’t make the last stitch on the dress.

I decided to make three dolls according to such a sketch, but from different materials, do not judge what happened.

.. Sorry, the picture is blurry, and dented, but something can be seen.

This image was born, prepared everything, started sewing.

. even when I sewed, these dolls didn’t leave me! I sewed almost everything, it remains to collect!

And then happiness smiled at me, Lena called and ordered a doll for a gift, everything was postponed and a new process began. They asked for a spring doll in bright colors. The image was outlined with specific wishes. I tried very hard, I had to get everything (as they say from the fact that I had blinded her), I didn’t invent anything, but it just happened like that from the heart.

MY MOST FAVORITE DOLL.

I looked at a bunch of photos with a folk costume: a shirt, a sundress, beads, an apron, a wreath, a scarf.

MK made hair for this, she discovered a new hairstyle for her, thank you very much !!

And then for me the most time-consuming and crucial moment! This face! I took advantage of this MK. I was very impressed when I found him, for me it was a find! I can do a lot of subtle operations, but when the time comes to face, I need to prepare. But in this case, the face was drawn very quickly. Yes, and probably, I already learned something.

And so my girl turned out.

. and boots and baby, and a wreath and a bell, appeared in the process. A handkerchief and a wreath (I forgot to take pictures - it is woven with ribbons of three colors, if you can see it when you look) they are removed, the baby can also be pulled out and the girl with the bell remains.

And such a girl was born!

Lena was so glad that, as it turned out, she didn’t give the doll, but left it for herself.

It’s not enough to do the work, the MOST important thing is to see the reaction of the person to whom you give it, to see his eyes, the reaction!

And I really enjoyed working on this doll, because Lena couldn’t part with it and left it with her. And this is the best praise!

Thanks a lot to the MK girls that I used in my work! :)

Thank you all who read my little copy MK :)

MK interior dolls from A to Z

What we need:

Sewing machine.
Body knitwear, non-woven fabric, cotton, knitwear for clothes.
Shoes for dolls, hat for dolls, hair tresses.
Threads are white and beige, needles.
Filler - synthetic winterizer and synthetic winterizer. You can only sintepon, if you do not find sintepuh.
Large (long) needle for sewing arms and legs.
Clay moment is transparent.
Invisible needles or safety pins.
Scissors.

So, the first and most important is the pattern. We print on A4, cut it out.

For tailoring you need knitwear. You can buy a special puppet knitwear, which almost does not stretch. Most often it is called "White Angel". You can take a simple knitwear from a fabric store. So that he does not stretch too much, glue it with non-woven. We glue the fabric from the inside, except for the place where the head will be. Fold and chip away facing each other, outline the pattern, flashing. Details are not completely stitched. There are places for eversion and a place where the ball for the head is inserted.

Parts of the body are cut with a zigzag scissors. If you don’t have these, then we cut them out as usual and make small incisions in the places of bends, for example, on the neck. Just take this cropped edge and trim it carefully, not reaching the seam of a couple of millimeters.

After we have flashed all the details, we need to finalize the legs. We take the leg, fold it in the area of the foot, the seam to the seam and draw a rounded line.

Stitch along this line. Cut out. This is what we should get.

We turn the parts with a wooden stick.

Getting to the head. We need a foam ball 8 cm in diameter. Cut a circle from the synthetic winterizer so that it completely covers the ball if wrapped.

We wrap the ball and stick it in the head through a space not sewn from above.

If you do not want to make a nose for your doll, then you can skip the next point. For a nose we need a safety pin with a bead on the end, a piece of padding polyester, thread and glue. So, take a pin. Apply glue to the tip of the plastic bead. Wrap a strip of padding polyester. Then we fold this roll on a bead in half. We tie the base of this ball with a thread.

The necessary strip of padding polyester.

A roll wrapped around an invisibility.

We folded this roll in half and wrapped a thread at the base.

We plan on the face of the invisible, where we will have a nose.

Gently push the fabric back and at the place where the needle enters the ball, insert our nose, and remove the invisibility.

Sew on top of the head.

Now the most crucial and difficult moment is the neck. For the neck you will need a wooden stick. Cut Chinese chopsticks and sharpen the end. You can use wooden skewers, but they are more brittle. A strip of padding polyester and glue are also required.

Cut a strip of padding polyester in width equal to the length of the stick to the point, and a length such that when folded into a roll, a neck coverage of approximately. We lubricate the stick with glue and, starting from the end, we roll the synthetic winterizer around the stick - like a carpet.

Carefully through the lower non-wired hole, insert this roller into the body and prick the ball in the head on the tip of the stick. For a beginner, it can be difficult to make a beautiful neck right away. With experience it turns out better and better.

We stuff the body with a synthetic fluff. Gently, in small pieces. We help ourselves with a wooden stick. If you don’t have a synthetic winterizer, then you can use a synthetic winterizer, tearing and fluffing it into small pieces. We stuff tightly.

First we stuff the neck with a stick. We try to align everything so that there are no bumps.

After the neck is smooth and neat, you can already fill the body without a stick, with your hands. A very important point! The packing should be very tight, tight. This is necessary so that our doll then stands. This applies to the body, and arms, and legs. Do not rush, use small pieces. Large pieces give the so-called cellulite - the uneven surface of the doll.

We stuff arms and legs according to the same principle. There is no way to do without a wand. Tip: first put your feet in boots, and then fill. This can be done again with a stick. We insert it into the leg and put it in the boot. And then we stuff it. This will help the foot not deform when stuffing and take the form of shoes. Sew the openings of the arms and legs.

Getting to the clothes. Cut out panties. We take the fabric. Fold facing each other. We draw our pattern on the fabric. We hem above and below. And then we sew the upper side seams.

We unfold and stitch the lower seams already so that we get panties.

We twist and put on the legs through the top.

Further, for work, we need durable threads, a long needle, buttons, a thimble and pliers.

We insert the body between the legs. We fix with safety pins, and better, if any, with long needles. And sew by button fastening the legs to the body.

That is, you insert the needle into one leg and sew through the torso with the other leg. At the same time, stitch on each side through buttons.

We put on panties. We collect them from the back and sew them to the calf. If they turned out to be wide over the leg, then they can be picked up on a thread and sewn to the legs.

Sew a dress. It will consist separately of the top, skirt and sleeves. We sew the upper part. To do this, we need to measure the circumference of the body at the waist and the height of this upper part.

The girth turned out to be 21 cm and a height of 7.5 cm. We add 0.5 cm in width and 2 cm in height to the allowance.

So, we need to cut a 21.5x9.5 cm rectangle. And hem it on a typewriter on both sides in width.

Then we make grooves on both sides. To do this, apply our cut to the body, wrap and outline for ourselves a fold of fabric. For starters, you can draw a line and sweep it by hand. Sew one side. We do not sew to the end, since on the bottom we have the length that we need. And it does not need to be reduced.

We put it again to the body and in the same way outline the surplus on the second side, which needs to be removed in the tuck. Flashing. We attach to the body, fasten with pins and sew two halves carefully on the back. It turns out here is the top:

Sew a skirt. Everything is simple here. From the waist, measure the length of the skirt you need. Note that if the skirt is magnificent, then it will look shorter. Cut a rectangle equal in width to your skirt length + 2 cm for allowances, and in length as much as you want. The more, the more magnificent. Here I made a length of 45 cm for this doll. If one piece of fabric is missing, then two can be sewn. So, they cut, hemmed the edges, and then sewed it in one circle. Picking up a thread in length and tightened on the belt. Then they sewed directly to the calf.

This is a petticoat. Skirt on top, pleats. The technology is the same. It is sewn by hand.

Down you can wear a tulle skirt for splendor. On the belt in order to hide the seam, you can stick or sew on braid or lace.

A jacket made of knitwear, but you can use both cotton and jeans. In this example, knitwear and cotton as lining. Chipping off the fabric facing each other. We draw a pattern. We do not sew to the end. We turn it out through the hole and sew it up manually.

We attach our jacket to the doll and fix it with pins. In the center we sew it. Decorate with a button or something else. You can not sew, then he will not be buttoned on the doll.

On a small rectangular section of knitwear, we sew the bottom. Face off and draw sleeves. We attach the pens to the fabric and outline where the sleeve should go.

Sew, twist and put on hands.

Sew hands like feet, using button fastening.

The last step is hair. Hair can be made from artificial tresses or from natural curls of lambs. You can also use yarn or wool for felting. How to make hair from tresses?

We need tresses, the moment glue is transparent, or a needle with a thread, safety pins, a comb.

There are two options. The first is to glue the tresses with glue, the second is to sew with thread. For beginners, the second option is easier. It is easier. And here is how you can stick tresses.

Around the head with a simple pencil draw a line. On this line we squeeze a small layer of glue.

We attach the base of the tresses to this layer and fix it with pins. Pins are needed for just a few seconds for the glue to snap. When we glue the second row, then from the first we already pull out the pins.

Then in the same way we squeeze out another layer of glue and glue another row. Hair does not need to be cut. This is done in a spiral.

In the same way, the third row, etc. Until the tress is over.

You can likewise spiral sew tresses with threads to the head. This is a little longer, but the hands will be clean of glue :) Or buy a wig, it is worn on the head and easily sewn along the edge.

We draw eyes with acrylic paint and blush cheeks with ordinary blush or pastel.

We put on a hat, decorate to your taste (a bear, or a handbag, or something else), and voila! The doll is ready :)

“He who does not play dolls does not know happiness” / proverb /

I’ll tell you about the folk doll,

And if you like it, I’ll show you how to do it.

Man-made dolls for centuries accompanied the life of Russian peasants. They were carefully stored in chests and handed down from generation to generation. Mothers, older sisters, grandmothers sewed small doll children, “... for all their incredible work, they found time for this. The child was specially trained in traditional doll making techniques, and from the age of five any girl could make a simple rag doll. ” And the girls began to learn how to make dolls from the age of three.

The main feature of the doll is that it is made without a needle and faceless. For a child, a doll will be a friend’s toy and a talisman at the same time, therefore it is worthless to prick her with a needle, and it is impossible to make a face according to popular beliefs, since such a doll can find a soul and become dangerous. A “faceless” chrysalis is considered an inanimate object and cannot harm a child. A doll made with love with her own hands will be the pride of her craftswoman.

The doll is just a sight for sore eyes

The children are all surprised

Kohl want to learn

To make this doll

You have to not be lazy

And try to make!

Materials

Pupa manufacturing technology

We take one square of white fabric and bend the edges inward, as shown in the photo. Where the wider edge is bent (to the right) there will be a base. It will turn out thicker so that the doll is stable.

We put cotton in the middle so that our doll is not too thin.

We perform tight twisting.

The twist turned out - a steering wheel. This is the "body" of our chrysalis.

At the level of the neck and belt, we twist the twist with a thread.

We take the second square of white fabric, in the center we place a twist and a piece of cotton wool to make the head more round.

Tied with thread at neck level.

Straighten the fabric. We will try to remove excess folds from the doll’s face.

We form hands: we determine their length and wrap the excess tissue inward. The edges of the sleeve are removed in the middle.

We measure the sizes of the palms and drag them with a thread. We tie the free corners around the body with a thread on the belt, trying to distribute the fabric evenly.

The base of our doll is ready. But the outfit is your imagination and creativity. I made a doll a sundress.

The doll is decorated with an apron. The ornament is drawn with a felt-tip pen.

But my doll is sad: there is no one to dance with.

Make her friends, the doll will be more fun.
