Banana-nut bread should be tender and aromatic, but its consistency should not be too dry, and the aroma should not cause thirst. Although, of course, it is very tasty to drink such bread with a glass of milk, but this glass should not appear as an inevitable necessity, but rather as a pleasant addition to its rich taste. Banana bread is made from fully ripened (and maybe even a little overripe, covered with brown spots) bananas. This dish allows thrifty housewives to very successfully get rid of excess bananas that are already overripe. Overheating bananas can even be frozen - this will not affect the quality of banana bread. Just let them thaw out by taking them out of the freezer before cleaning.

According to this recipe, 3 loaves or 10 mini-loaves are obtained. Such bread can be served instead of cookies.

To make banana-nut bread, we need:

banana puree - 1.5 tbsp.
ghee - 1 tbsp.
vegetable oil - 0.5 tbsp.
egg - 2 pcs.
vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
flour - 2 tbsp.
sugar - 1 tbsp.
cinnamon - 1.5 tsp
soda - 1 tsp
salt - 0.5 tsp
chopped walnuts - 1 tbsp.

How to make banana-nut bread:

1. Preheat the oven.
We take the ripe bananas, mashed them. In mashed potatoes, add 1 tsp. ghee, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, mix everything well until smooth.
2. Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, soda and salt and add to the banana mixture. Then add most of the chopped walnuts.
3. Pour the dough into a greased bread pan. Sprinkle with the remaining nuts and sugar, grease with the remaining ghee.
4. Bake for 60 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a wooden skewer (match) - stick it in the center of the bread, if the skewer comes out dry and without sticking lumps of dough, the bread is baked.
5. Refrigerate outside the oven for 10 minutes, then remove from mold.

Eat with milk or any other favorite drink.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup margarine
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup banana puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1, ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon of soda
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup instant oatmeal
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Cooking

1. In a bowl, mix the first 4 ingredients. And in a larger bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until smooth. Then add bananas, yogurt and vanilla.

2. Put flour, coconut and walnuts in the mixture. Knead the dough.

For cooking, you will need such components.

Combine softened butter and sugar and beat with a mixer for several minutes until smooth.

Continuing to beat the mixture, add 1 chicken egg and beat the mixture for 40-60 seconds.

Then add a second chicken egg and beat the mixture for another 1-2 minutes, until the mass becomes airy and uniform.

Place the dough in an oven preheated to 170 degrees and bake for 50-60 minutes. Check the readiness of the bread by piercing the crumb with a wooden skewer or a toothpick. If the skewer comes out clean, the bread is ready.

Leave the bread in shape for 5-10 minutes, and then remove and refrigerate completely.

Instructions

1 Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C. Lightly grease the baking dish. In a large bowl, beat the margarine and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well, and then add the banana and vanilla.

2 In a separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add to the finished mixture.

3 Add oatmeal and nuts. Put the dough in the prepared form.

4 Bake in a preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
